Drink Holder

When we Purchased our first Puma we could not find anywhere to put a drink can whilst driving. Ford have obviously thought of this requirement, but it is difficult to reach into the back of the car when driving, so I constructed a ‘His and Hers’ drinks holder for both of our Pumas. This is the MKII version and it just fits between the front seats.

All you need is a 6.5 inch length of 3 by 2 wood, and 2 hang off the doordrink holders which can be purchased from Halfords.

Mark across the corners 0.5 inches each way, and cut off. Slightly plane the bottom sides to fit neatly and tightly into the hole supplied by Ford in between the front seats.

When you are happy with the fit, mark the wood level with the top of the hole and cut excess off. Sand the wood smooth and then paint or spray black, fix with some small screws

The pictures below show a front and rear view of this fitted, and very useful, accessory.
